Health Services Staff
Student health is staffed by the following healthcare providers (nurse practitioner, physician, and physician assistant), and two medical assistants.
Dr. Barbara Siebert, DNP, CRNP, FNP-BC, CNE
Director, Student Health
Dr. Siebert is the Director of Student Health Services at USciences. In May 2012, she graduated from Duquesne University School of Nursing with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Her capstone research project addressed the Academic Characteristics of Nursing Students with Undiagnosed Learning Disabilities: A Retrospective Case Study Analysis. She received her MSN degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in 1986 from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA., her BSN degree in 1981 from Dominican College, Blauvelt, NY, and a Diploma in Nursing in 1979 from Holy Name Hospital School of Nursing, Teaneck, NJ. She also earned a Post-Masters Certificate in Advanced Practice Nursing Education in 1995 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Siebert has over 35 years of nursing education experience teaching nurse practitioner students in both Women’s Health and Family Health practice and undergraduate nursing students in a variety of nursing education settings. As a FNP, she has extensive clinical experience providing comprehensive primary care and family planning/gynecologic health care to adolescents, as well as addressing primary care health issues affecting male and female adults across the lifespan. Dr. Siebert continues to provide healthcare to diverse and vulnerable patient populations in urban, suburban and rural health care settings. She practiced for over 20 years at the Department of Adolescent Medicine at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA., from 2000-2014 served as a healthcare consultant with Atlas Family Chiropractic, Roslyn PA., and held a part time clinical role as a staff nurse practitioner at The Livengrin Foundation, Bensalem, PA., providing comprehensive health care to patients in the drug and alcohol recovery program. Dr. Siebert continues to serve as adjunct faculty and chair of doctoral committees for students completing their doctorate in nursing practice degree at DeSales University School of Nursing DNP Program, Center Square, PA.

Dr. Siebert is married and the mother of two children; Jennifer a registered nurse at the University of Pennsylvania Heart & Vascular critical care surgical unit, and Andrew an art teacher teaching art and ceramics grades K-12.
Floriya Tkachuk-Mattioli, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC
Floriya Tkachuk-Mattioli brings over 5 years of clinical experience as a nurse practitioner with a focus in family medicine. She is also an Adjunct Nursing Profession at Rowan College. Floriya received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and her Masters of Science at University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. She hopes to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in the near future. Floriya is married and a proud mother to her two active daughters, Ava Bella and Nastia. She enjoys dancing, has a passion for travel and learning about new cultures.
Kirstin Patragnoni-Sauter, MSN, CRNP, FNP-BC
Kirstin Patragnoni-Sauter has worked as a part-time nurse practitioner at SHAC since August 2018. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and graduated with a BSN in 1996. As an RN, Kirstin worked in geriatrics at a long term skilled nursing facility, in a variety of hospitals as a neurological and neurosurgical nurse, in India as an instructor of nursing students in Patna, Bihar, and as travel nurse performing screenings for people working in factories away from local providers. Kirstin then attended the University of California at San Francisco and graduated from their Family Nurse Practitioner program with a MSN in 2002. She has been providing health care in the private setting ever since. Women's Health and College Health are of particular interest to her, and she finds working at University of the Sciences to be extremely rewarding. Haverford College and Jefferson are two other schools where she has worked within college health in the past and she currently holds a position as adjunct faculty at Jefferson where she teaches within the Physician Assistant program throughout the year.
Maureen Hopkins, RMA, Medical Assistant/Administrative Assistant
Maureen Hopkins joined the Student Health and Counseling staff in May 2015. She has been a Medical Assistant since 1994 and passed her registry exam upon graduation from her program. She brings with her over 18 years of experience in Phlebotomy and Education with the American Red Cross. She spent several years traveling and training staff in phlebotomy for the American Red Cross throughout the US.
She is married and the proud mother of three children, and a grandmother to her first grandson. Her oldest daughter graduated from Temple University Medical School in May 2015, and is currently a resident in obstetric/gynecology at St. Luke’s Medical Center in the Lehigh Valley. Her middle daughter is in the process of completing her Master’s degree in Education, and her youngest son graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Her first grandson was born in September 2014 and she’s already planning his career with the Philadelphia Flyers! Maureen has fine tuned clinical lab skills and knowledge, and a great sense of humor with staff and students.
